# Get open interest by expiry

GET https://www.okx.com/api/v5/rubik/stat/option/open-interest-volume-expiry

Retrieve the open interest and trading volume of options for a currency, broken down by expiration date and call/put type.

## Request

### Query parameters

- `ccy` (string, required) — Currency, e.g. BTC.
- `period` (enum, optional) — Bar size, the default is 8H.
  - Allowed values: `8H`, `1D`

## Response

### 200

Successful response

- `code` (string, optional) — Result code. `0` means success; any other value is an error code.
- `msg` (string, optional) — Error message. Empty on success.
- `data` (list of list of any, optional)
